During the Webinar, various case studies of the use of aerial and satellite data, hydrodynamic modelling and ongoing projects in this field will be presented.

Chair of the EUFAR Executive Board, Thomas Ruhtz Freie Universität Berlin (Free University of Berlin), participated in the ESF 50th anniversary celebrations as a roundtable speaker. Dr. Ruhtz contributed to a panel discussion titled “Sustained Infrastructures for European Research” alongside Jana Kolar, Executive Director of CERIC ERIC (Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium), and Nigel Mason, Coordinator of the Europlanet Society.

EUFAR's General Assembly meeting successfully took place on June 19-20, 2024, in Brno, Czechia. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Global Change Research Institute – CzechGlobe for hosting this year’s gathering.
