Aircraft-borne measurements provide an important capability that supports many areas of study in environmental research including (but not limited to): Atmospheric composition and dynamics / Cloud and aerosol properties / Land and water surface properties / Vegetation identification and characterization / Support to space-based observations including calibration and validation.
