Rosemount:
Platinum resistance wire sensor. The calibrated temperature is referred to as "total temperature". It must be corrected for the effects of dynamic heating of air entering the sensor housing and also for the possible effects of anti-icing heating applied to the housing.

Temperature measurements on the Falcon are based on resistance wire (Pt100/Pt500) temperature sensors mounted in commercially available TAT housings mounted under the aircraft nose.
The Pt500 sensor is slow response and the Pt100 is used for turbulence measurements. Sensor is calibrated to better than 0.1 deg between -70 and +50 deg.
