HAGAR is a multi-tracer instrument for research balloons and high-altitude aircraft and consists of a 2-channel gas chromatograph (GC) along with a CO2-sensor based on IR absorption. The GC is currently configured to measure N20, CFC-12, CFC-11, and halon-1211 every 90s, and SF6 every 45s.
